Our programs includes Ellen's Hand, which offers free nutritional supplements to those who can't afford them. We also administer the Medical Nutritional Therapy program for HIV/AIDS.

Lazarus House
The Lazarus House is dedicated to helping the community of Houston successfully combat and manage cachexia, or disease related muscle loss. We teach life skills to the chronically ill, adolescents and adults alike, so they may learn how to enjoy a more productive and improved quality of life. Cachexia is the devastating cycle of malnutrition and muscle wasting that accompanies numerous chronic illnesses like cancer, HIV/AIDS, lupus, muscular dystrophy, and even situations like spinal cord trauma. It robs clients of their energy, sense of well being, ability to live independently, and ultimately quality of life.

The Body
1. Use the Web to lower barriers between patients and clinicians. 2. Demystify HIV/AIDS and its treatment. 3. Improve the quality of life for all people living with HIV/AIDS. 4. Foster community through human connection.
