An unintimidating strong iconic figure, "the diver" was created so all people will be able to recognize and accept "the diver" as the vessel of health and compassion. Through "the diver," LIVE CONSORTIUM will strive to communicate and educate all people that every individual, regardless of status or health challenge, can have the opportunity to live a healthy and full life.

Symbolizing health, hope, faith, confidence, strength, perseverance, independence, the ability to struggle with adversity and survive, being positive and healthy (body, through form, is a plus sign), heroism, self-confidence, intelligence, and ability to be bold, "the diver" represents diving, flying, breaking away, breaking free, actively resisting pressures of society, being proactive, healthy, moving forward, leading, taking the plunge, living life, vitality, taking risk, engaging inner struggles, committed to overcoming exterior obstacles, human vulnerability, and the strength and courage within each of us.
